Kanjani8′s Yasuda to perform solo show

Shota Yasuda of Kanjani8 will star in his own solo stage show next year, it was announced on Thursday.

The show is titled “818,” a reference to the fact that he was born at 8:18pm, and is set on a street. Yasuda will play a total of four roles – three street performers and a young man in search of his dream.

Yasuda is involved in deciding the composition of the show, and is writing and composing the theme song. Aside from song and dance, the show is also said to feature some improvisation.

“818″ will run at The Globe Tokyo on February 10-20, then at the Osaka Pension Hall on February 23-26.
