Kunihiko Mitamura remarries

56-year-old actor and singer Kunihiko Mitamura held a press conference on Sunday to announce that he is now a married man. He officially registered his marriage on May 15 to a 30-year-old woman whom he had been dating for the past five years.

This is Mitamura’s second marriage. He previously wedded actress Mari Nakayama (62) in 1979, but they separated in 1996 after his affair with actress Kaori Takahashi (34) was discovered, and it ultimately led to divorce in 1999.

Mitamura also happens to be recording for a new song, his first in 16 years. Titled “LOVESONG,” it will be released as a single on June 24.
