Kyoko Kano’s father arrested

The father of talento Kyoko Kano was arrested on the 25th, it was learned on Thursday. 72-year-old Teruo Koyama, who describes himself as self-employed, was taken into custody after threatening Kyoko and Mika Kano, who are together known as the Kano Sisters.

On the night of December 25, the Kano Sisters returned to their apartment and were confronted by Koyama in the underground parking lot. He reportedly threatened them with an umbrella, demanding money. The police were tipped off and arrived on the scene to arrest Koyama. Neither of the two women were hurt.

Koyama admitted that he has money troubles. On the same day, the newest issue of Josei Seven reported that he and Kyoko have had conflicts in the past, as Koyama has repeatedly asked her for money. He is also suspected of spreading defamatory flyers in their neighborhood in late November.
