Mako Ishino will star in the TBS daytime drama “Ii Onna” (weekdays at 1:00pm, starting October 30). This is her first lead role in a drama since the 1998 TBS series, “39-sai no Aki.” Based on a story of the same name by author Hitomi Fujimoto, the drama focuses on an ordinary housewife who runs into her first love. Yumie Nishiogi will be in charge of the script, and the theme song will be sung by Ataru Nakamura.
