Mayo Suzukaze headed for divorce

Shukan Josei reported this week that former Takarazuka top star Mayo Suzukaze (48) and former rugby player Kiyoshi Imaizumi (41) may be getting divorced.

According to the magazine, the actress seems to be having an affair. Suzukaze became close with a younger actor who appeared with her in the musical “Elizabeth,” and she reportedly has left the home that she was sharing with Imaizumi.

Suzukaze’s agency confirmed that there have been talks leading towards divorce, but the agency also said that it did not know any other details, such as the reasons behind their separation.

Suzukaze and Imaizumi first met through work in 2000, and they tied the knot four years later.
