MEG aims overseas

Model and singer MEG (30) revealed her plans to take a short break from music earlier this year. During a birthday concert at Sanrio Puroland on Sunday, she again confirmed that she will not be releasing new music for a while, but she is aiming to restart for her 10th anniversary next year.

MEG finished her contract with Universal Music with the best album “BEST FLIGHT,” released on September 29. She wants to take time off to “reset” herself, in order to continue making good music from now on.

MEG is also continuing with her activities as a fashion designer. A source close to her says that she is trying to expand her work to France and other countries overseas, though media reports do not make it clear whether that is limited to fashion or also includes her music career.
