Miki Hayashi: a new idol is born

The result of the 1st B-Girl Audition, a gravure idol audition sponsored by Watanabe Entertainment, was announced on Friday. The Grand Prix was awarded to 17-year-old Miki Hayashi (previously known as Rena Fukai), a 3rd year high school student from Chiba. Hayashi was chosen from among 16,217 applicants. For the special talent segment, she rode a unicycle.

As the Grand Prix winner, Hayashi will make her debut in Young GanGan and appear on its cover. She will also release a CD and DVD, appear in a UHA Mikakuto commercial, and become the image girl and a seiyuu for the upcoming anime Code Geass.
