Singer Miki Imai, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of her debut last year, has been cast in the movie “Zou no Senaka” (directed by Satoshi Isaka). Her last acting role was in the 2001 drama special “Atataka na Osara,” though her last movie was in 1987.
“Zou no Senaka” is based on a popular serial by author Yasushi Akimoto. Koji Yakusho stars as a man who is told he only has half a year left to live, and Imai plays the role of his wife.
