Minomonta returns to 7 shows a week

In October, NTV will introduce “Himitsu no Kenmin SHOW” into its regular lineup. It will replace “Nippon Tabi Tabi Show” in the Thursday 9:00pm time slot.

“Himitsu no Kenmin Show” has aired twice before as a special program, receiving ratings of 13.0% and 15.7%. The program features Japanese celebrities explaining various local customs from their respective hometowns.

Hosts Minomonta and Masami Hisamoto will return for the regular show. While the previous specials had two hours to include celebrities from every prefecture, the new version will only be able to fit in 15 to 20 guests each episode.

With this show, Minomonta once again returns to his incredibly busy schedule of 7 regular weekly programs. Since the end of “Captain Domino” in July, he has only had 6 regular appearances per week.
