Mio Nemoto expecting first child

TBS weathercaster Mio Nemoto (31), who married a doctor this past December, is now expecting a child. She is reportedly due to give birth this autumn.

Due to the pregnancy, Nemoto will be leaving her position on the weekday early morning show “Minomonta no Asazuba!” (5:30am) at the end of this month. However, she plans to continue her other regular TV appearances for now.

Nemoto will remain on “Asazuba!” until March 26. Starting on March 29, she will be replaced by fashion model Ryoko Mima (25).
