NHK announced on Wednesday that its spring drama series “Battery” will start on April 3, airing on Thursdays at 8:00pm.
The drama is based on Atsuko Asano’s “Battery” novel series, which tells the story of a talented young pitcher and catcher. Yuma Nakayama is starring as the pitcher, while Sho Takada plays the catcher and Shintaro Morimoto plays Nakayama’s younger brother. The three of them are all members of Johnny's Jimusho.
