The MTV Student Voice Awards 2009 were presented on Thursday at Shibuya AX. The drama/movie “ROOKIES” proved popular among the young voters, taking Best Movie while earning Hayato Ichihara the title of Best Actor.
Among the winners were two repeats from last year: model Jun Hasegawa as Best Fashionista, and golfer Ryo Ishikawa as Best Athlete. The awards ceremony also featured performances by several artists, including girl band SCANDAL as the opening act.
