SMAP’s Masahiro Nakai has been chosen by coach Senichi Hoshino as the official “support captain” for Japan’s Olympic baseball team. At the end of November, Nakai will travel with the team to Taiwan, where they will be playing for an Olympic berth at the Asia preliminaries.
Nakai, who is a big baseball fan, expressed his enthusiasm in supporting the team. “I’ll fetch balls, I’ll clean, I’ll do anything.”
