Shigeaki Kato (of NEWS) will have his first lead role in a special one-shot drama called “An Automaton in Long Sleep.” The drama is based on a new novel by mystery writer Hiroshi Mori, commissioned by Coca-Cola for its 120th anniversary. Kato plays an astronomy otaku in college who explores a mystery in a small village. Actress Chiaki Kuriyama will play the heroine. The drama will air on TBS on September 13.
