NHK’s fall-winter Asadora titled “Teppan”

NHK’s Osaka office held a press event on Thursday, revealing that the 83rd Asadora series is titled “Teppan.” The drama will run from fall 2010 to winter 2011.

“Teppan” takes place in Osaka and Hiroshima, following the struggles of a young woman opening an okonomiyaki restaurant. Toshio Terada is handling the script.

The female lead, to be chosen by audition, will be decided by the end of March.
