No more marriage for Otsuru, Matsuba

Actor Gitan Otsuru (41) and former talento Reina Matsuba (28) have ended their relationship. Otsuru’s admission of the breakup was included in a commercial for NTV’s variety show “Shiawase Kekkon Soudanjo” that began playing on Sunday. The news was later confirmed by his agency.

Otsuru and Matsuba had been dating for less than a year. In March, Otsuru declared that they were planning to marry by the end of this year.

Details of the breakup will be revealed in Tuesday’s episode of “Shiawase Kekkon Soudanjo.” It is speculated that one reason may have been opposition by Otsuru’s 11-year-old daughter, who was born from his previous marriage with singer and actress Marcia (40).
