‘Nodame’ rides wave of popularity

With the premiere of the “Nodame Cantabile” drama last week (which had ratings of 18.2%), the manga has also seen a boost in popularity. Previous volumes jumped in sales, with the first three books occupying the bottom three slots of the Top 10 this week. Meanwhile, the most recent Vol. 16 was the #1 seller for the second week in a row.
