NTV announcer Kimie Osugi (43) fell to her death from her apartment building in Shibuya. The incident occurred at around 6:30am on February 2. A note left behind has led police to conclude that it was likely a suicide.
Osugi joined NTV in 1987. Last year, she gave birth to her first child after four years of marriage with her husband, who is ten years younger. She was apparently troubled by her health, which had worsened after the delivery of the child.
