Oguri directs, produces play

On Sunday, a play titled “Ano Yuuhi ni Mukatte” was performed at Nippon Broadcasting System’s Imagin Studio. The project, related to Shun Oguri’s “All Night Nippon” radio show, was the first play produced and directed by the actor.

Three lucky listeners of Oguri’s show were selected to act in the play: a 28-year-old OL, an 18-year-old college freshman, and a 15-year-old high school student. Actor Eiji Yokota also participated in the play, which was performed in front of 100 invited listeners.

The play was labeled as “All Night Nippon Engekibu’s first performance,” which suggests that their may be similar productions in the future. An audio recording of “Ano Yuuhi ni Mukatte” will be aired on the April 9 broadcast of Oguri’s show.
