Oguri voices lead in “Surf’s Up” dub

Actor Shun Oguri has been chosen as the lead voice actor in the Japanese dub of the computer-animated film “Surf’s Up.” This is his first time as a seiyu for a Hollywood animated feature.

Oguri was reportedly chosen because of his deep interest in surfing.

The rest of the voice cast features Yu Yamada, Mike Maki, and Michiko Shimizu. The film opens in Japan on December 15.
