Okuda takes grand prix at Montreal

At the 2006 World Film Festival in Montreal, filmmaker Eiji Okuda took home three prizes for his film, “A Long Walk” (Nagai Sanpo). One of the awards was the Grand Prix of the Americas, which Okuda shared with Carlos Diegues from Brazil. Okuda’s two other honors were the Fipresci Prize and the Ecumenical Prize.
