Oricon: favorite commentator

A recent Oricon survey asked 2,000 people who they felt was their favorite commentator. Answers included people from a variety of fields, from celebrities to writers to directors.

In first place with 99 votes was Terry Ito, known as a director, producer, critic, and TV personality. Amazingly, Ito was ranked in the top 3 by all five age groups, and was voted as #1 by the male respondents.

Only 4 votes behind Ito was foreign talento Dave Spector, while Kaori Manabe trailed Spector by just 3 votes.

Female author Yuzuki Muroi ranked 4th overall, but she was the leading answer among females. Critic Tetsuya Miyazaki was #5.

The rest of the top 10 were: talento and essayist Miho Takagi, fashion critic Peeco, journalist Shuntaro Torigoe, columnist Masahiko Katsuya, and columnist Matsuko Deluxe.
