Oricon: “kogao queen”

For the second year in a row, Oricon has conducted a survey regarding the “kogao” (literally, “small face”) beauty trend. A thousand men and women were asked to name celebrities that they associated with the “kogao” image.

On top of the list this year was singer Namie Amuro, an improvement from her #3 ranking last year. In second place was actress Manami Konishi, who ranked first last year.

Actress and model Nana Eikura saw a boost in popularity as she rose to #3, while Kyoko Koizumi fell two spots to #4. The rest of the top ten were: Koyuki, Hinano Yoshikawa, Misaki Ito, Ayumi Hamasaki, Alisa Mizuki, and Erika Sawajiri.
