Oricon survey: best black hair

Research firm Oricon published the results of an online survey asking 1,000 men and women which celebrity they thought was best suited for black hair. Actress Yukie Nakama was the overwhelming favorite, being ranked first across all respondent categories (by sex and age group).

Model and actress Chiaki Kuriyama came in second with a 10.8% rating, less than half of Nakama’s impressive 28.0%. In third was actress and singer Mika Nakashima, who was noted to look good with either long or short hair.

Hitomi Kuroki, Yui Aragaki, Satomi Ishihara, Koyuki, and Meisa Kuroki ranked 4th through 8th, respectively. In 9th place was Ryo Nishikido, the only male celebrity to make the top ten. Eri Fukatsu and Kou Shibasaki tied for tenth.
