“Radio Ghibli” to start in October

Tokyo FM has announced the start of a new radio show, tentatively titled “Radio Ghibli.” Starting on October 7, the program will air on Sundays at 11:00pm on all 38 stations in the Japan FM Network, which includes Tokyo FM.

Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki will host the show. This is his first time as a radio personality. He will talk about animation-related topics, such as information about the studio’s upcoming film, “Gake no Ue no Ponyo.”

It is not yet clear how long the program is expected to run.
