Rhymester’s Utamaru ties the knot

Rapper Utamaru (41) of the hip-hop group RHYMESTER revealed on Thursday that he is now married. He announced the news during an event that RHYMESTER held at Shibuya-AX to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their major label debut and the completion of their 8th album “POP LIFE,” which is being released on March 2.

RHYMESTER gave a live performance of several songs, including some from their new album. After the performance, an “ending scene” video began playing on the screen, delivering the news about Utamaru’s marriage. Utamaru had personally prepared the video announcement, and only a few people knew about it beforehand.

Utamaru has still not mentioned any personal details about his wife or the history of their relationship.

RHYMESTER also announced that they will be doing a release tour for the album, taking them to five cities between May 1 and June 5.
