Rock band ala is restarting activity after nearly a two-year hiatus. The group is regaining the two vocalists who left the band in 2008, returning them to a 7-member lineup.
ala formed in 2003 and finally made their major label debut under Avex with the mini-album “SEVEN COLORS SAUCE WITH YOU” in January 2008. However, in June of that year, the band’s two vocalists, Yuki Arai and Seiji Sato, both left the group. As a result, ala went on hiatus, and the five remaining members formed the band FRESH OFF the CRADLE while trying to recruit new vocals in order to resume as ala.
