Rock singer Kiyoshiro Imawano was hospitalized on Wednesday for treatment of throat cancer. He had his throat examined at the end of June, and doctors notified him on July 7 that he has larynx cancer. On his website, he apologized to his fans for the cancellation of his performances, but he also reassured them. “I want to concentrate on my treatment as if I’m enjoying a new style of blues music. I will see you again sometime in the future. Please don’t forget your dreams.”
