Ryudo Uzaki causes traffic accident

Rock singer/composer Ryudo Uzaki (63) caused a traffic accident over the weekend, it was learned on Monday. Uzaki was not hurt, but two female passengers suffered minor injuries.

On Sunday evening, Uzaki was driving alone in Tokyo’s Setagaya ward, returning home from work. He was waiting at an intersection, and when the light turned green, he stepped on the accelerator without realizing that the car in front of him was still stopped. The rear-end collision resulted in slight neck injuries to two women in the back seat of the car, one in her 20s and the other in her 50s.

Police plan to send Uzaki to prosecutors for negligent driving.
