Ryuhei Matsuda hospitalized for broken rib

Actor Ryuhei Matsuda (26) is currently in the hospital after being injured in a motocross accident, it was learned on Thursday.

Matsuda went motocross riding in Narita, Chiba, several days ago. While attempting a certain maneuver, he lost his balance and was thrown from his bike. After returning home, his bruised body remained in pain, so he eventually went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a fractured rib. His doctor then conducted a more thorough examination of the rest of his body, but no other injuries were found.

Ryuhei and his younger brother, actor Shota Matsuda (24), began riding motocross some years ago. Shota reportedly was riding with him at Narita on the day of the accident.
