Salyu has been chosen to sing the theme song of “Harufuwei,” the first film directed by screenwriter Eriko Kitagawa. The ballad, titled “HALFWAY,” will be heard during the film’s ending credits.
The movie, which stars Kie Kitano and Masaki Okada, was first announced in May. Its theatrical premiere has been scheduled for February 2009. Salyu’s song has not yet been given a release date.
