Saori Ito to tie the knot

Saori Ito (36), a member of comedy duo Hokuyo, is getting married later this month, it was learned on Saturday. Her fiance is volleyball player Ayumu Shinoda (30), currently on the Toray Arrows.

According to multiple sources, Ito and Shinoda have been in a relationship for the past five years. The news of their impending marriage came just a few days after Ito’s comedy partner Mihoko Abukawa (35) proposed to her own boyfriend on broadcast television.

Ito is expected to register the marriage during the middle of this month. It has not been announced whether she plans to hold a wedding ceremony.
