The popular “business mystery” novel series “Joshidaisei Kaikeishi no Jikenbo” by author Shinya Yamada is being adapted as a drama series on BS-i. The novels, which started in 2002, have sold close to 800,000 copies and have already been turned into a manga.
Young actress Saori Koide will play the college student Moemi, an abacus-wielding accountant who solves business-related mysteries. Teaming up with her is Terunosuke Takezai, playing the rookie accountant Kazuma.
