13-year-old Mirai Shida (The Queen’s Classroom) is set to star in a new Nihon TV drama series this fall. Tentatively titled “14-year-old Mother,” the series tells the story of a middle schooler who finds herself pregnant. Not sure what to do, she faces opposition from everyone around her. Although the topic is sure to generate a lot of controversy, NTV producer Ken Murase said that they are prepared to deal with the comments and criticism. The program will air on Wednesdays at 10:00pm.
