“Shinjuku Swan” becomes drama

Ken Wakui’s manga “Shinjuku Swan” is being adapted as a drama series on TV Asahi.

The story revolves around 19-year-old Tatsuhiko, who becomes a scout for the Kabukicho red light district of Shinjuku.

The series will air late on Saturday nights (1:25am-1:55am), starting on August 18. The official website is open, but no cast details have been announced yet.
