Shion Tsuji’s first movie theme

Singer-songwriter Shion Tsuji (19) has penned her first theme song for a feature-length film. The song, titled “Hoshii Mono,” will be used in Yoshimitsu Morita’s “Watashi Dasuwa,” which opens this October.

“Watashi Dasuwa” is the first original screenplay by Morita since “(Haru)” in 1996. The movie stars Koyuki (32) in her first solo starring role, playing a woman who returns to her hometown and begins giving away money to others to help them find happiness.

Tsuji just made her major label debut last year with “Candy kicks.” Her “Hoshii Mono” does not yet have a scheduled release date.
