Sousuke Takaoka stars in love comedy “Sankaku”

Director Keisuke Yoshida (“Junkissa Isobe”) is working on a new film titled “Sankaku,” starring actor Sousuke Takaoka (27). AKB48’s Erena Ono (16) is being billed as the heroine, though actress Tomoko Tabata (29) also plays a major role.

The movie is described as a comedy involving a love triangle. Takaoka plays Momose, a former yankee who currently lives with his “bothersome” girlfriend Kayo (Tabata). However, Kayo’s younger sister Momo (Ono) comes to stay with them during her summer break from junior high, and Momose gradually finds himself drawn to her free-spirited and teasing personality. Ono is said to have a scene in her underwear, as well as another in the bath.

The movie was filmed this past November. For Takaoka, this was a rare role in a romantic comedy. He commented that it was difficult for him to remember his lines because there was so much dialogue. He also said that he was uneasy at first, but after the first couple days he was able to play the part smoothly.

“Sankaku” is scheduled to open in theaters in early summer.
