Swimmer Iwasaki to wed rugby player Saito

Swimmer Kyoko Iwasaki (30) and rugby player Yuya Saito (31) are getting married, it was learned on Tuesday. According to a source close to the couple, they plan on holding their wedding on April 22.

Iwasaki won the gold medal in the 200m breaststroke at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, when she was only 14 years old. Although she does not swim competitively anymore, she is still involved in the sport and is active as a sports commentator on television.

Saito currently plays as a number eight for the Toyota rugby team. He previously played for the Kobe Steel Kobelco Steelers and served on the national team.
