Tadanobu Asano, Chara divorce

Actor Tadanobu Asano (35) and musician CHARA (41) have divorced. The sudden news appeared on CHARA’s official website and Asano’s agency’s website early on Saturday.

According to the message, signed by both of them, Asano and CHARA decided to divorce after much discussion. In order to maintain their respect and friendship with each other, they chose to go their separate ways. They further plan to cooperate in their duties as parents of their two children, whom will be in Chara’s custody.

They explained that even though their divorce is a private matter, they felt that they should inform all of their fans who have supported them.

Asano and CHARA married in March 1995. CHARA gave birth to a daughter later that year, followed by a son in 1999.
