Tadanobu Asano’s relationship with model led to divorce?

This week’s issue of Josei Seven reports that actor Tadanobu Asano (35) has another woman in his life. The rumor comes less than a week after the announcement that he and musician Chara (41) divorced.

Speculation of an affair had emerged after the lyrics of Chara’s new single, “breaking hearts” (on sale this week), were made public. The words were of a woman addressing a man, expressing doubts about his love.

According to Josei Seven, Asano has been getting close to half-American fashion model Diana Chiaki (21). The two have given off the appearance of lovers at a club they frequent, and they have also gone on a trip together with friends. They were also reportedly seen on a daytime date at the end of last year at a French restaurant, where they apparently shared a kiss.

Asano had been married to Chara since 1995, and the two were known as a very loving couple. They had one son and one daughter together, who are both in Chara’s custody since the divorce.

The management agency of Asano has commented on the magazine article, saying that he and Chiaki are just friends, and that their friendship has absolutely nothing to do with the divorce. Chiaki’s agency, on the other hand, has simply said that it has no knowledge about her private life.
