Takako Kato returns in “Onsen e Ikou!”

The popular TBS drama “Onsen e Ikou!” is coming back with a new season. The show has already had five seasons between 1999 and 2005. The new one, however, will take on the slightly different title “Onsen e GO!”

Lead actress Takako Kato is reprising her role as Kaoru, but the rest of the regular cast is being replaced. Like the previous seasons, the story is set at the onsen inn where Kaoru works as a staff member.

The theme song is being sung by Skoop On Somebody, with lyrics provided by Porno Graffitti’s Haruichi Shindo. Broadcast begins on September 1 in TBS’s “Ai no Gekijo” time slot (weekdays at 1:00pm).
