Takami Yoshimoto gives birth

Takami Yoshimoto (38) is among the latest wave of celebrities having children. The actress gave birth to a boy on Tuesday, and she announced the happy news on her official blog the same day.

Yoshimoto entered her second marriage on New Year’s Day of this year, getting hitched to a performance artist in his late 30s. She had actually dated him during their high school days, but they broke up and Yoshimoto married a businessman in 2001. That relationship ended in divorce in 2006.

Yoshimoto is the daughter of actor Susumu Kurobe (70), best known for his role of Shin Hayata in the “Ultraman” series. Yoshimoto made her own acting debut in “Ultraman Tiga” in 1996.
