The Underneath to disband in May

On Saturday, rock band The Underneath posted an urgent message on their official website, announcing that they are breaking up in May.

The Underneath will launch their final tour on March 21 in Saitama, playing a total of four concerts. Their last one will be on May 3 in Shibuya. They have also scheduled a final single, titled “Diamond,” to be released on March 17.

The band formed in 1996 under the name Transtic Nerve. At the start of 2008, they became known as The Underneath while keeping the same lineup.
