Tokikake takes prize at Sitges

At the 2006 Festival Internacional de Cinema de Cataluña (also referred to as “Sitges”), Studio Madhouse’s film “Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo” was awarded the ANIMA’T Gertie Award for Best Animated Film, notably winning over Kihachiro Kawamoto’s “The Book of the Dead” and Satoshi Kon’s “Paprika.”
