Tatsuya Yamguchi of TOKIO is the new commercial character for the energy drink Lipovitan D (produced by Taisho Pharmaceutical Co.). He represents the 15th generation of commercials for the drink, which was first released in the 1960s. The brand is now well known for the slogan “Fight! Ippatsu!” that first appeared 30 years ago.
Filming took place over eight days earlier this month in Oahu, Hawaii. The commercial features Yamaguchi kitesurfing, which he had never done before.
