Tsutaya 2010 rental rankings: Amalfi, Funky Monkey Babys, Arashi

Video rental chain Tsutaya has revealed its rental and sales rankings for 2010, based on nationwide data collected from January to October. In movie rentals, “Amalfi” (starring Yuji Oda) topped the list of Japanese films, while “Avatar” ranked highest for foreign films. The top seller overall was Michael Jackson’s “This Is It.”

In Japanese album rentals, FUNKY MONKEY BABYS took #1 with their “FUNKY MONKEY BABYS BEST,” which was released in February. Lady Gaga’s “The Fame” led the list for foreign album rentals. In the Japanese single rentals, Arashi captured the top two spots with “Troublemaker” and “Monster.”
