V6′s Miyake to star in “Stalag 17″ play

V6 member Ken Miyake will star in a production of the Broadway play “Stalag 17.” The play, which focuses on a group of American soldiers held as prisoners of war in a German camp during WWII, was made into a movie in 1953, directed by Billy Wilder and starring William Holden.

Yumi Suzuki is directing the play. The supporting cast includes Kotaro Tanaka, Hajime Okayama, Yosuke Saito, and Yoshihiko Hakamada.

Performances will be held at The Globe Tokyo from May 19 to June 8, then at Osaka’s Theater BRAVA! on June 13-15.
