After 19 years in show business, talento Wakako Shimazaki has landed her first lead role in a drama series. She will appear in the TBS daytime drama “Sandaime no Yome!” in which she plays a woman married to a senbei maker 7 years younger than her. The story focuses on her conflicts with her mother-in-law.
The series premieres on January 7, airing weekdays at 1:00pm.
