“Watashi no Host-chan” mobile game gets late night drama series
The mobile game “Watashi no Host-chan” is being turned into a television drama series next season. Officially titled “Watashi no Host-chan ~Shichinin no Host~,” the show will be the first drama produced and directed by television writer Suzuki Osamu, who is better known for working on many popular shows such as “Mecha-Mecha Iketeru!” and ”SMAP x SMAP.”
According to Suzuki, the drama will also incorporate variety show and documentary elements, providing a glimpse into the actual world of host clubs. The story is set in a host club in the Kabukicho neighborhood of Shinjuku, called Club Vanilla.
