Winners announced for the 52nd Japan Record Awards

The winners for the 52nd Japan Record Awards have been announced. Ikimono Gakari’s “Hajimari no Uta” has been chosen as Best Album, while Masahiko Kondo was named Best Singer.

Two more awards will be announced during the awards show on December 30. The grand prize (the Japan Record Award) will be chosen from one of the ten Best Song winners, which include EXILE, the winner of the last two years. The Best New Artist will be chosen from one of the four New Artist winners.
